The Woman With The Flame Colored Hair

From a distance she appeared unreal,

I could feel her presence from across the room,

Who was this extraordinary woman,

Her hair looked like a bright flame,

If I could only know her name that would be a start,

Her appearance didn’t seem that she went out of her way not to look the same as other’s,

That just how it was,

Her brightness lit the room,

Soon I would be right in front of this incredible woman with hair like a wildfire,

I would be a liar if I said I wasn’t in awe of her fiery hair and beautiful skin,

Deep dimples,

As she came closer I knew her beauty wasn’t that simple,

She had a marvelous brain,

A woman of intellect and wisdom,

As I introduced myself and inquired her name,

I became lost in her eyes,

I could see the pain,

All the hurt and lies,

All the times she gave all her love and got nothing in return,

I could also see all the lessons she learned,

Self reliance,

As she looked me deep in the eyes and I gazed at her remarkably face,

Not one trace of anger or bitterness,

I see love and determination,

The seemingly scorching heat that came from her hair could not compare to the inferno that burned in her heart,

Asking this fascinating woman her name I prayed would only be the start,

As she began to part her lips to speak her name,

I felt right then I would forever be in love with The woman with hair the color of a flame

I’m sure many ladies will feel afraid to like or comment on this poem, as I myself do, because to comment on poems like these sometimes can feel inappropriate or strange. But you have created a stunning work of art here with your words, and whoever she is, I’m sure she will feel blessed from the tips of her toes, to her (real or imagined) fiery red hair. Lovely imagery for autumn as well btw. Beautiful!!!

Wow!! Stunning writing! Very lucky woman to meet a man so perceptive! This was a beautiful peace – no doubt written from the fires in the heart and mind – very beautiful! ❤️
